Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Agriculture, Animal Feed, Poultry Feed, Aquaculture/Fish Feed Manufacturing industry.
Valuable knowledge of inventory management and accounting principles.
Candidate should be versatile for travel.

Role & responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries including purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and bank transactions.
Monitor and maintain inventory records of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished fish feed.
Reconcile physical stock with ERP/books and investigate inventory variances.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Purchase, and Dispatch departments for accurate inventory accounting.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reconciliation reports.
Verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN),



issue slips, stock transfer notes, and delivery documents.
Assist in monthly and annual stock audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Maintain costing data related to raw materials and finished goods.
Process vendor invoices and coordinate with the Accounts team for timely payments.
Assist in GST-related documentation, TDS compliance, and statutory accounting records.
Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, production, and stock movement.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and company SOPs.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
