Role & responsibilities
Refine SAP workflows to match the physical realities of the shop floor
Lead the outsourced Basis team; ensure high system performance for high-volume transaction settings
Oversee the transition of production and financial data into Power BI to provide insights into manufacturing variances, scrap rates, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Maintain and scale the on-premise server architecture and network security
Manage the IT needs of a production facility, including industrial PCs, handheld scanners for MM/SD, and office infrastructure
Ensure the production workplace is shielded from external threats while maintaining remote access for outsourced support

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory experience in an industry/corporate role within a Discrete Production setting (e.g., Engineering, Automotive, Heavy Components, or Railway Industry) with at least 5 years leading SAP-centric departments.

Deep knowledge of S/4 HANA integration.

Candidates from Kolkata or Howrah will get the first preference.
