We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Officer to join our team on an Oil Tanker, with a minimum of 6 months of experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in oil tanker operations and be able to work effectively in a quick-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility
Manage and maintain the safety and security of the vessel and its cargo.
Coordinate with other officers and crew members to ensure smooth operation.
Monitor and report any defects or issues with the vessel's hull, superstructure, or equipment.
Participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency preparedness.
Maintain accurate records and logs of vessel operations and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with the captain and other senior officers to make informed decisions about vessel operations.

Job Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience as a 2nd Officer on an oil tanker or similar vessel.




Strong knowledge of oil tanker operations, safety protocols, and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse group.
Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with a focus on attention to detail.
Familiarity with navigation and watchkeeping procedures, including chart reading and plotting.
Robust problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
