Area Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities
Underwrite Home Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) proposals.
Assess salaried and self-employed customer income, financials, and bank statements.
Review CIBIL, Legal & Technical reports, and property valuation before credit approval.
Approve loan cases within assigned underwriting authority and recommend higher-value cases as per the approval matrix.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Technical teams for timely credit decisions.
Ensure adherence to credit policy, risk guidelines, and maintain portfolio quality.

Candidate Profile
3+ years of experience in Home Loan/LAP credit underwriting with a Bank, NBFC, or HFC.
Independent underwriting authority of 30 Lakhs.
Recommendation authority of 2 Crores.
Experience handling 30+ loan files per month.
Robust knowledge of mortgage underwriting, credit appraisal, income assessment, banking analysis, CIBIL, and Legal & Technical evaluation.
