Role Description This is a full time, in office role based in Chennai for a 5 axis machine operator. The role involves setting up, programming (where applicable), and operating 5 axis CNC machines to produce pump components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

The machine operator inspects parts, performs in-process quality checks, and adjusts machining parameters to maintain accuracy and surface finish. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, performing routine maintenance, handling tools and fixtures safely,



and documenting production activities. The role also requires collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and continuously improve machining processes.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust skills in Machine Operation and experience working with 5 axis CNC machinery.
Candidates should possess skills related to Quality Control, including measuring components and verifying tolerances.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Machinery and Hand Tools used in machining, setup, and basic maintenance.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow technical instructions.
Relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering, machining, or industrial training (ITI/Diploma) is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) is beneficial.
Experience in pump or heavy engineering manufacturing environments is an advantage.
Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and willingness to work in shifts as required by production schedules.
