Job Description Area Sales Manager (Agency Channel)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our Agency Channel business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting insurance agents, developing high-performing agency teams, driving business growth through agents, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, and develop insurance agents/advisors within the assigned territory.
Build and manage a productive agency team to drive business growth.
Generate business through the agency channel by inspiring and supporting agents.
Coach, train, and mentor agents on products, sales techniques, and compliance.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Monitor agent productivity and implement strategies to improve performance.
Conduct regular field visits, joint sales calls, and customer meetings with agents.
Identify new market prospects and expand the agency network.
Ensure timely activation and retention of agents.
Maintain strong relationships with agents and resolve their queries promptly.
Prepare and submit sales reports, business forecasts,



and market feedback to management.
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Candidate Requirements
Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
37 years of experience in the Insurance Agency Channel.
Proven experience in team handling, agent recruitment, and business generation through agents.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven setting.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
