Purpose/Objective

The Head - IT ensures reliable network and application performance, manages IT operations and personnel, develops policies, oversees budgets, and maintains information security.
Also manages data processing, provides timely information for decision-making, and upgrade systems to international standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Network and Application Reliability: Ensure a breakdown-free network and applications, providing a highly reliable online computer system for all port activities and services.
Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).
Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development.
Compliance and Telecom Policy: Observe and implement statutory compliances and Adani telecom policy, ensuring adherence to regulations.
Information Security Compliance:



Comply with all information security practices and processes per organization strategy and best practices, ensuring data and systems protection.
Personnel and Contractor Management: Manage personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems.
Team Development: Promote a respectful and secure workplace, lead cooperative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: M.
Sc.
IT/ MCA / BE, B.
TECH, CS Work Experience: 12 - 15 years of experience.
