Key Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and process procurement invoices raised by IT vendors/suppliers.
Match invoices with Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) 2-way/3-way matching.
Validate invoice details for accuracy (vendor details, tax, pricing, quantities, approvals).
Ensure invoices are processed and routed for approval within defined SLAs.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Procurement teams) to resolve invoice discrepancies or holds.
Track invoice status and follow up to ensure on-time payment to vendors.
Maintain accurate records and update trackers/dashboards on invoice and payment status.
Respond to vendor queries related to invoice and payment status.
Support month-end/quarter-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Assist in preparing MIS reports on invoice processing, pending approvals, and payment timelines.
Ensure compliance with client policies, tax regulations (GST/TDS where applicable), and internal audit requirements.
Work within SAP (or similar ERP) system for invoice entry, tracking, and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:




Working knowledge of SAP (MM/FI module exposure) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
Domain Knowledge:
Basic understanding of procurement/invoice processing cycle (PO-GRN-Invoice matching) preferred but not mandatory.
Soft Skills:
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Valuable communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Time management skills to meet payment deadlines.
Willingness to learn client-specific tools and processes.

Preferred Attributes
Prior internship or academic project exposure to accounting/finance operations.
Basic understanding of taxation concepts (GST/TDS).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
