Position: Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Record and verify purchase, sales, expense, receipt and payment entries.
Maintain Tally/Accounting Software and ensure all entries are updated accurately and on time.
Handle inward and outward stock entries and maintain proper stock records.
Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, vendor accounts and customer accounts.
Maintain petty cash and imprest accounts.
Prepare and maintain GST invoices, purchase invoices and sales invoices.
Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance and coordinate with the CA/accounting consultant.
Maintain records of accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up for outstanding payments.
Verify vendor bills, supporting documents and payment requests before processing.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and provide regular updates to management.
Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete and maintained confidentially.

Stock & Inventory Responsibilities




Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward stock.
Verify stock received against purchase orders and invoices.
Coordinate with the Store/Store Incharge for stock reconciliation.
Maintain proper documentation for stock transfers, returns and adjustments.
Conduct periodic stock reconciliation and report discrepancies to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Good knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
Basic to good knowledge of GST, TDS and accounting principles.
Robust understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliation.
Positive numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
