Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, monitoring expenses, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The role also involves supporting statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
The Accountant will help improve financial processes and ensure that company policies and regulatory requirements are followed. This is a full-time, in office role based in Pune.
Qualifications
Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis for financial monitoring and control.
Knowledge of applicable financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements relevant to Indian businesses.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, procurement, and management teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications (such as CA Inter, CMA, or similar) are an advantage.
Prior experience in manufacturing or machinery-related industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
