Role Description The Aluminum Formwork Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for designing aluminum formwork systems, preparing detailed drawings and layout plans, and optimizing formwork designs for structural integrity, safety, and cost efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and structural drawings, performing basic load and design checks, coordinating with project teams and site engineers, and updating design revisions based on field feedback.

The role also involves preparing material lists, supporting installation teams with technical guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant standards,



and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to maintain product reliability.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills related to formwork and flatwork, including understanding of aluminum formwork systems and concrete slab and floor work.

Candidates should possess carpentry-related skills for assessing joints, connections, and practical assembly methods of formwork components.

Candidates should possess familiarity with power tools and protected handling practices used in the installation and adjustment of formwork systems.

Candidates should possess awareness of heavy equipment operations relevant to formwork installation and site coordination.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for 2D drafting and layout of formwork systems.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Solid understanding of concrete structures, load paths, and basic structural principles.

Attention to detail, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and strong problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with site teams and cross-functional departments.

Prior experience in formwork design or construction engineering is an advantage.
