Role Description The Article Trainee will support the firm’s tax and audit engagements on a full-time basis at the on-site office in Delhi, India. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers and documentation, and supporting direct and indirect tax compliance such as returns, reconciliations, and basic assessments. The trainee will help in gathering and analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports under the guidance of senior team members and partners.

The role also involves coordinating with clients for information,



learning to interpret relevant laws and regulations, and participating in internal training to strengthen technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust foundational knowledge of accounting principles and basic auditing concepts.

Candidates should possess skills in taxation fundamentals, with interest in Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation.

Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools used for financial analysis and reporting.

Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and documentation.

Candidates should possess strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Candidates should possess good time management skills and the ability to work diligently under guidance and deadlines.

Enrollment in a Chartered Accountancy program or equivalent professional course, as per applicable regulations, is preferred.

Demonstrated willingness to learn, maintain professional ethics, and adapt to a team-oriented work environment is essential.
