We are seeking a Formulation Manager Extruded Snack Pellets to drive the development, optimization, and scale-up of extruded snack pellet formulations. The role focuses on translating innovation concepts into commercially viable products, ensuring consistency, quality, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

The position will work closely with-in R&D; Team, & across cross-functional teams as production, quality, procurement, and Sales/ Marketing and report directly to the Head – R&D;

This is a full time, in office role for Assistant Manager Formulation, located in Bengaluru, But also involves considerable amount of travelling pan-India- to Jaipur Manufacturing Unit too & also to the Markets, Raw Material Suppliers' Units, Regulatory Authorities & Analysis Laboratories related visits etc. Apart from Local languages & English, being conversant in Hindi is basic requirement.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize formulations for extruded snack pellets
Conduct laboratory, pilot, and plant trials; support scale-up and commercialization.
Optimize formulations for texture, expansion, oil uptake, shelf life, sensory performance & others as required




Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues during development and process.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO/FSSC).
Collaborate with procurement for ingredient evaluation and cost optimization.
Prepare and maintain formulation documentation, trial reports, and technical specifications.
Support innovation projects aligned with market trends such as healthier, multigrain, or clean-label snacks.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members as required.

Key Skills & Competencies Requirement:
Solid hands-on knowledge of extruded snack pellet formulation and processing.
Understanding of food ingredients, starch & critical raw materials behaviour, and extrusion technology.
Experience in pilot trials and commercial scale-up.
Knowledge & Experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
Knowledge & Experience of Quality Standards and Process Improvement
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration ability.
