; Responsibilities:

;New product new technology development.
;Design develop mechanical system solutions based on engineering principles. Support design decisions with analysis and calculations, as required.
;Participate in peer to peer design reviews and provide critical feedback to colleagues.
;Drafting of mechanical components and sub-assemblies in solid edge 3D software. Provide 3D modelling in Solid edge of all solutions developed.
;Provide technical support and guidance to assembly team to insure proper machine assembly and functionality.
;Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases.
;Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.
;Create accurate Bills of Material documentation on PLM ERP system.




;Selection of appropriate materials and processes for designed parts.
;Identification and selection of technology and off the shelf solutions that can be implemented to achieve the project goals.
;Mechanical design of customized solutions including; motor sizing, pneumatic/electro pneumatic and electrical routing.
;Provide hands on assembly assistance and accurate measurement techniques in order to collect data and identify root causes of machine bring-up issues.
;Involved in pricing / detail costing of new development products.
;Knowledge of DFMEA DFM
;Involvement in current component development at Vendor end.

; Required Skill Set:
;Hands-on experience 2D 3D software like AutoCAD, Solid Edge
;GA drawings and BOM preparation
;Excellent analytical skills

; Experience : 2 to 7 yrs
