Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, in office position based in Kolkata.

The Assistant

Manager will support daily operations, coordinate production activities, and ensure that processes follow company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, monitoring quality and hygiene, tracking inventory, and assisting in scheduling and resource allocation. The role also involves maintaining documentation, preparing reports for senior management, and supporting problem-solving and process improvements.

Qualifications
Ability to oversee day-to-day operations, including coordination of production, workforce supervision, and workflow management.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with experience in scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining accurate records.
Knowledge of basic quality control, food safety, and hygiene standards in a production or manufacturing environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and guide frontline staff.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data, reports, and operational metrics.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Operations Management, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or food industry operations is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata and adapt to a fast-paced, shift-based operational workplace if required.
