Job Title: Mechanical Billing Engineer – EPC Projects

Role Summary The Mechanical Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all billing-related activities for mechanical works in EPC projects. The role ensures accurate measurement, timely invoicing, and compliance with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Measurement
Prepare RA (Running Account) Bills and final bills for mechanical works.
Conduct site measurements and verify quantities as per drawings and BOQ.
Ensure billing is aligned with contract specifications and milestones.
Maintain measurement sheets and billing records.

Documentation & Coordination
Coordinate with site engineers, planning team, and client representatives for bill certification.
Prepare and submit billing documents, invoices, and supporting reports.
Track client approvals and payment follow-ups.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.





Costing & Variations
Identify and prepare variation / extra item claims.
Assist in cost estimation and reconciliation of quantities.
Monitor project costs vs billed quantities.

Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with contract terms, tax regulations, and company policies.
Generate weekly/monthly billing reports.
Support in internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3–8 years of experience in billing for EPC / construction projects

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and contract billing
Experience in RA billing and client coordination
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), ERP systems
Valuable understanding of mechanical works (piping, equipment, fabrication, erection)
Solid attention to detail and documentation skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
