Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Billing Engineers to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, planning, billing, project monitoring, material reconciliation, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure timely and productive execution of construction activities.

Role & responsibilities
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and work measurements based on approved drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
Interpret construction drawings and coordinate with architects, consultants, and site teams for clarifications.
Estimate quantities of materials, labor, equipment, and construction activities using AutoCAD and planning tools.
Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), verify reinforcement quantities, and maintain Measurement Book (MB) records.
Verify BOQs against drawings and specifications and resolve discrepancies.
Plan material, manpower, and shuttering requirements to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and other planning tools.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and month look-ahead schedules with quantity and resource planning.
Raise material requisitions and coordinate timely availability of resources at site.




Liaise with subcontractors to ensure adequate labor deployment.
Prepare and process client bills and subcontractor bills based on measured quantities and approved rates.
Address billing-related queries and ensure timely submission, verification, and certification.
Perform material reconciliation and support project cost monitoring and control activities.
Track project progress, identify delays, analyze causes, and coordinate with the Project Manager for corrective actions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, labor reports, cost reports, and productivity statements.
Maintain accurate records of drawings, BOQs, billing documents, ERP entries, and project documentation.
Share progress updates, status reports, and site photographs with management and clients as required.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of quantity estimation, billing, planning, and execution of building construction projects.
Valuable understanding of construction methodologies, materials, quality standards, and safety practices.
