Key Responsibilities:
Perform Audio quality testing, including Bluetooth codec validation, ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) testing, and concurrency scenarios involving voice and music
Assist in setting up and deploying audio validation frameworks/test setups using specialized hardware
Execute and debug automated test scenarios for audio interfaces and use-case scenarios
Support audio curation activities to ensure optimal user experience across different audio profiles.
Provide inputs on dependencies, risks and issues
Task definition and work breakdown including time estimation
Represent test team in bug scrubs and design reviews
Creation of relevant documentation following the departments processes
Contribute towards continuous improvements of test coverage, execution, automation and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in audio/system testing for embedded systems, with exposure to automated and manual test frameworks
Experienced in working with soundcards, identifying glitches and drops, and analyzing audio characteristics such as frequency response, THD+N, and SNR
Ability to identify the root cause of the failures and provide first level analysis
Excellent debugging and analytical skills that can be applied to isolate potential system issues.
Excellent communication skills and proven track record of working effectively in cross functional teams.
Familiar with software configuration tools, preferably Perforce
B.Tech/B.E/ Masters.
Computer
Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in developing automation tests using scripting languages (Python/C desired)
Positive understanding of Bluetooth audio profiles
