Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using a microservices architecture.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through best engineering practices.

Required

Skills

5+ years of backend development experience.

Strong hands-on experience in microservices architecture (mandatory).

Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Go, or Python.

Strong experience with AWS API Gateway.

Hands-on experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

Good understanding of API design, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development.

Experience working in an Agile development workplace.

Experience with AWS services beyond API Gateway.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring tools is a plus.
