Workday QE Engineer1
Responsibilities
Support and maintain various Workday modules including HCM, Security, Compensation, Perks, Absence, and Payroll.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to build out test scenarios and test scripts.
Develop test strategies and test plans aligned to requirements and ensure 100% automation coverage.
Support biannual Workday upgrades and day-to-day RTB defects, enhancements, and change requests.
Work proactively with cross-functional and business teams to maintain testing quality and timely delivery.
Experience
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience across Workday HCM, Payroll, Compensation, and Advantages modules.
Proven ability to build and execute test scenarios and scripts in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
Experience executing Kainos automation runs including triggering, managing, and triaging results.
Kainos scripting skills are a plus.
Experience managing Workday upgrade QA cycles and tracking test plans to ensure timely project delivery.
Working knowledge of SOX compliance requirements in payroll and compensation testing context.
Robust communication skills with ability to work independently, manage concurrent priorities, and engage clearly with business teams. India or US timezone availability required.
