1–3 years of experience as a Cashier in retail, supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, or sweet shops.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Cash Handling
Greet customers politely and professionally.
Accurately bill customer purchases using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
Receive payments through cash, UPI, debit cards, credit cards, gift vouchers, and other approved payment methods.
Verify payment amounts before completing transactions.
Issue bills and payment receipts to customers.
Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
Ensure the cash drawer balances with daily sales records.
Report any cash shortages or excess immediately to the Outlet Supervisor.

POS Operations
Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
Process refunds, cancellations, exchanges, and discounts only with proper authorization.
Update customer information where applicable.
Handle billing errors promptly and professionally.

Customer Service
Welcome customers with a friendly attitude.
Answer customer queries regarding products, pricing, offers, and payment methods.




Resolve customer concerns politely or escalate them to the supervisor when necessary.
Maintain a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Sales Support
Inform customers about ongoing promotions, festive offers, and loyalty programs.
Encourage additional purchases through cross-selling and upselling.
Coordinate with sales staff for smooth customer service.

Cash & Financial Control
Maintain confidentiality of financial transactions.
Prepare daily cash collection reports.
Deposit cash as per company procedures.
Ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Store Coordination
Coordinate with the sales team during peak hours.
Assist in maintaining queue discipline and smooth customer flow.
Support inventory reconciliation when required.

Housekeeping & Hygiene
Keep the billing counter clean, organized, and presentable.
Follow company hygiene and grooming standards.
Maintain cleanliness around the billing area.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
