Role Description The CA Industrial Trainee will support finance, accounting, and audit-related activities within Aditya Birla Capital’s Mumbai office. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with financial reporting, preparing and reviewing working papers, supporting statutory and internal audits, and helping ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
The trainee will work with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to process improvements in financial controls. This is a contract role, and it is fully in office in Mumbai,
offering practical exposure to corporate finance and financial services operations under professional supervision.
Qualifications
Candidates should be pursuing Chartered Accountancy and be eligible for an industrial training period as per the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) guidelines.
Candidates should possess strong accounting and financial reporting skills, including familiarity with Ind AS/IFRS and basic taxation concepts.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in working with financial data and using spreadsheets or analytic tools.
Candidates should possess knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
Candidates should be proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exposure to ERP or financial systems will be an added advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, integrity, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced workplace.
