Job Title: Microbiologist - Quality Assurance Executive

Job Location: Bisleri Plant - Kamshet, Pune, Maharashtra

Reporting To: Manager - Quality Assurance

Job Objective: We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Microbiologist to join our Quality Assurance team at the Bisleri Kamshet Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for microbiological testing, water quality monitoring, plant hygiene, laboratory compliance, equipment calibration, and ensuring adherence to Bisleri quality standards and food safety requirements.

Key Role & Duties:
Perform routine water quality analysis and microbiological testing of raw water, process water, finished products, and environmental samples in accordance with Bisleri standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Monitor the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) on a daily basis to ensure consistent process performance and product quality.
Ensure high standards of plant housekeeping and hygiene, including monitoring sanitation practices across production and laboratory areas.
Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, conduct root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




Plan and execute fumigation activities for the plant and laboratory as per the defined schedule and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate and monitor pest control activities, ensuring compliance with the approved schedule and food safety standards.
Maintain and ensure timely calibration of laboratory and plant equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance and calibration schedule.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, calibration logs, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with Valuable Laboratory Practices (GLP), Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, FSSAI, and Bisleri quality guidelines.
Support internal and external quality audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:
Strong understanding of microbiological testing techniques and laboratory practices.
Knowledge of water treatment processes and water quality standards.
Familiarity with GLP, GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and ISO quality systems.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and strong documentation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
