Role : Data Engineer

Experience: 5–10 years

Key Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with robust programming fundamentals.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including: Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Azure Databricks (ADB)

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Blob Storage

Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

Proven expertise in core Data Engineering skills, including data ingestion from SharePoint, relational databases, data lakes, and external systems.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including SCD Type 1 and Type 2 and dimensional modeling.

Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL DML) for productive querying using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS platforms.

Hands-on experience with big data technologies, particularly PySpark.

Robust understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing, and code quality standards.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with complex data sets.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
