Key Accountabilities

Define end to end technical designs for backend systems and API driven applications
Design scalable, modular microservices architectures using Spring Boot
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and design artifacts
Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture principles and standards
Define integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and service to service communication
Define API contracts, data exchange models, and interface specifications
Ensure seamless integration of upstream and downstream systems across the BSS ecosystem
Support integration with external platforms, partner systems, and third party services
Identify potential design bottlenecks and propose optimized architectural approaches
Ensure efficient data flow and system interactions between microservices and backend systems
Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
Promote reusability, maintainability, and modularity in solution designs
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and QA teams
Work with cross functional teams across telecom and/or eCommerce domains to align solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to design related discussions




Maintain technical design documents, architectural diagrams, and API specifications
Document data models, workflows, integration patterns, and overall solution design
Communicate design decisions clearly to development and implementation teams

Mandatory Skills

Robust understanding of microservices architecture and design principles
Hands on experience with Spring Boot based systems
Experience in designing RESTful APIs and defining API contracts
Robust knowledge of system integration, middleware, and API driven architectures
Good understanding of data modeling, backend design, and distributed systems

Desirable Skills

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Understanding of frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with Apache Camel
Solid communication and documentation skills
