Role & responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers.
Issue purchase orders and monitor the procurement process to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other significant procurement data.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues regarding defective goods or late deliveries.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Analyze market trends to identify prospects for cost savings and supply chain improvements.
Assist in preparing procurement reports and cost analysis for management.
Build and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
