Role Description The Facade Designer will work in office in Mumbai in a full time capacity, collaborating with project teams to design and detail window and facade systems for various building types. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing facade concepts, preparing detailed design drawings, and coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and compliance with standards. The role involves creating and checking shop drawings, specifying materials and systems for cladding and glazing,



and supporting manufacturing and installation teams with transparent technical documentation.

The Facade

Designer will also participate in design reviews, value engineering, and quality checks to ensure that facade solutions meet performance, safety, and aesthetic requirements.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Facade and Facade Design for residential and commercial projects.

Candidates should possess practical experience with Cladding and Glazing systems, including material selection and detailing.

Candidates should possess proficiency in creating and interpreting Shop Drawings for window and facade assemblies.

Candidates should possess competence with CAD or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for technical design and documentation.

Candidates should possess knowledge of building codes, structural principles related to facades, and basic thermal and acoustic performance criteria.

Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in facade or window design is an advantage.
