Could you be the full-time EMC Engineer in Bangalore were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside creative and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of our railway signalling systems, contributing to the design, analysis, installation, compliance, and testing of products according to EMC standards. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and quality assurance), enforce EMC design rules, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of writing EMC Control Plans and conducting EMC tests, but also prepare and review test specifications and reports.
Responsibilities
Writing EMC Control Plans based on project requirements
Adapting and applying EMC engineering rules to Urban Mainline projects
Enforcing EMC design rules across all signalling subsystems
Verifying the design of products and subsystems for EMC compliance
Preparing and reviewing EMC test specifications and reports
Conducting on-site EMC tests and delivering associated reports
Developing and improving EMC guidelines, processes, and tools
Sharing and spreading EMC/EMI knowledge within the engineering community
Analyzing and solving EMC problems encountered on projects
Participating in technical meetings and reporting project activities
Applying processes and best practices, including Quality ES procedures
Respecting schedules and milestones defined by the project team
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Communication Engineering
More than 5 years of EMI/EMC experience in sectors such as railway, military, aeronautics, or automotive
Knowledge of railway systems, specifically signalling systems
Familiarity with EMC standards (e.g., EN 50121, EN 50122, IEC 61000-6, IEC 60364, IEC 61000-5, IEC 62305)
Understanding of lightning risk assessment and induced voltage studies
Experience with surge and transient protection systems used in railways
Knowledge of earthing and bonding methods in railway settings
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluency in English with excellent writing skills
