Key Qualifications
Master s/Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, or a related field.
Minimum 10+ years of editorial/content experience with at least 5 years in a leadership/editorial head role.
Fluency and excellence in English, Hindi, and Marathi both written and spoken.
Deep knowledge of Maharashtra s political landscape, culture, and regional sentiments.
Proven experience in digital journalism, social media content, and content for political campaigns.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead large editorial projects with precision.

Lead the editorial team to deliver compelling, insightful, and timely content tailored to the political discourse of Maharashtra and beyond.
Maintain editorial consistency, tone, accuracy, and quality across all content published in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Multilingual Content

Oversight - Personally review, curate, and refine content across all three languages.
Ensure regional and linguistic nuances are well-represented and culturally contextualized.
Guide sub-editors, language experts, and translators to ensure linguistic integrity.





Team Mentoring

Development - Build, mentor, and inspire a team of writers, journalists, content strategists, and social media editors.
Conduct editorial reviews and workshops to upskill team members.
Foster a newsroom culture that values journalistic ethics, speed, and creativity.

Digital Political

Savviness - Lead the evolution of content for digital platforms short-form content, reels, explainers, live updates, interactive formats, etc.
Collaborate with social media, design, video, and tech teams for integrated storytelling.
Use data insights to shape content direction and audience growth strategies. Fact-checking, Accuracy Ethics - Own the final layer of editorial validation for all major releases.
Ensure strict adherence to political neutrality, ethics, and credibility in content creation.
Oversee protocols for fact-checking, attribution, and corrections.

Campaign Alignment Thought

Leadership - Work closely with client servicing teams to align editorial output with campaign strategies.
Offer strategic inputs on political messaging, tone, and audience resonance.
Represent the editorial function in high-level client meetings and planning sessions when required.
