– Secondary ICSE English Teacher Position
Secondary School English Teacher (Grades VI–X)
Reports To Principal / Academic Coordinator
Purpose of the Role To teach English Language and Literature in accordance with the ICSE curriculum, fostering robust communication, critical thinking, creativity, and a love for reading and writing among students.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the ICSE syllabus.
Teach English Language, Literature, Grammar, Composition, and Communication Skills.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Encourage reading habits, public speaking, creative writing, debates, and literary activities.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning setting.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and concerns.
Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, school events, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
Perform examination-related duties such as paper setting, invigilation, evaluation, and result preparation.
Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the school administration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field.
B.Ed. (Mandatory).
Master's Degree in English (Preferred).
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in an ICSE or equivalent secondary school (preferred).
Skills and Competencies
Solid command of spoken and written English.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of the ICSE curriculum and assessment practices.
Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire students.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
