Job Summary

Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) is currently looking for an Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of core engine components for Caterpillar Engine applications. The position is accountable for leading the design, development and validation of core engine components (5C components include cylinder heads, cylinder blocks, crankshafts, connecting rods, camshafts, gears, housings, pistons, rings, liners, and valve mechanism components.) and systems in support of Recent Source Introduction (NSI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) and Current Product Introduction (NPI) projects. The position will have broad responsibility from concept development to release to production in a manner to ensure products provide superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability.
