Job Purpose To support the Strategic Sourcing team in driving supplier development, cost optimization, data analysis, and procurement planning aligned with business objectives. This role is suitable for early-career specialists or fresh graduates with a technical and business background.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify recent suppliers, alternate sources, and cost effective solutions for raw materials, packaging, and components.
Perform cost analysis, prepare cost comparison sheets, and assist in value engineering projects to reduce sourcing costs.
Assist in implementing strategic sourcing plans by working on vendor development, localization, and risk mitigation.
Prepare and issue RFQs, collect quotes, and conduct commercial evaluations in coordination with technical teams.




Track supplier delivery performance, quality issues, and support improvement initiatives.
Maintain sourcing master data, purchase order records, and reports using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel.
Collaborate with planning, quality, and production teams to ensure timely procurement and supplier readiness.
Ensure suppliers meet required standards on quality, environmental, and ethical compliance.

Qualifications
Education: BE / BTech Mechanical or Polymer Engineering
MBA Operations or Supply Chain Management (preferred from reputed institutes)
