We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FI (Financial Accounting) Consultant with at least 10 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector, to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FI modules to streamline financial operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and design SAP FI solutions to meet financial and accounting needs.
Configure and customize SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with SAP CO, MM, SD, and PP modules.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and prepare documentation including functional specs and user manuals.
Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
Provide training and post-implementation support to end-users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI implementation and support.
Strong understanding of financial processes in a manufacturing workplace.
Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
Familiarity with integration points between FI and other SAP modules.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must have Prior Experience a Team of at Least 5 Members in a Production Workplace for Support & Development
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP FI certification.
Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA migration.
Exposure to global SAP implementations and multi-currency settings.
Knowledge of SAP CO (Controlling) module is a plus.
