Role - Linux Multimedia Engineer

Role Summary

Seeking a hands-on Linux Multimedia Software Engineer with strong experience in embedded systems, multimedia drivers, and low-level software debugging. The engineer will contribute to development, debugging, and optimization of camera, display, and video software solutions on embedded platforms.

Must-Have Skills
B.E./M.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5 to 8 years of overall software development experience.
Robust proficiency in C programming and Embedded Linux development.
Hands-on experience with multimedia drivers (Display, Camera, Video, Graphics).
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in embedded Linux debugging on hardware platforms.
Experience with board-level debugging tools and techniques (JTAG,



UART/serial console, crash analysis, trace/debug tools).
Robust understanding of:
Operating Systems concepts
Device drivers
Memory management
Concurrency and synchronization
Embedded systems fundamentals

Valuable-to-Have Skills
Linux kernel driver development experience.
Knowledge of Framebuffer and/or DRM/KMS architecture.
Android platform debugging and performance analysis.
Experience working on ARM-based SoCs and embedded platforms.
Board bring-up and hardware-software integration experience.
Familiarity with Git/Gerrit development workflows.
