Position: CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to create, optimize, and manage CNC machine programs for precision components. The ideal candidate should have experience with CNC turning or machining centers, strong drawing interpretation skills, and the ability to improve machining efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify CNC programs for CNC Turning, VMC, or HMC machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
Select cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
Perform program prove-out and optimize cycle times.
Prepare setup sheets and tooling lists for production.
Support machine setup and first-piece inspection.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per customer requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design teams.
Maintain program backups and documentation.
Follow safety procedures and 5S practices.

Required Skills




Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas controls).
Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, Powermill, NX CAM, or similar).
Solid understanding of machining processes and cutting tools.
Ability to read 2D/3D engineering drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T; and precision measurement instruments.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications
ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Certification in CNC Programming is an added advantage.

Experience
2 to 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision machining or automotive manufacturing industry.
