Key Skills Required

Solid understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player engagement. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Knowledge of UX/UI design, wireframing, and level design. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret user feedback and game metrics.

Creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Familiarity with game development pipelines and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Metaverse, AR/VR, or immersive technologies is a plus.

Main Responsibilities

Create and maintain explicit, detailed, and well-structured Game Design Documents (GDDs) for existing and recent games. Define gameplay mechanics, features, progression systems, and rules for developers and 2D/3D artists. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improving game design.

Collaborate with programmers, artists, QA, and management to discuss features, priorities, timelines, and project milestones. Design intuitive game flows, UX/UI wireframes,



and engaging level layouts. Develop prototypes and participate in playtesting and user testing sessions.

Analyze player feedback and gameplay data to improve game balance, engagement, retention, and overall user experience. Suggest and implement design improvements based on qualitative and quantitative insights. Ensure a fun, immersive, and engaging player experience throughout the game lifecycle.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience creating comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs). Hands-on experience with wireframing, level design, prototyping, and user testing. Understanding of game economy, progression systems, and player psychology. Ability to analyze game performance metrics and recommend design improvements.

Experience working on mobile, PC, VR, or Web-based games. Knowledge of Metaverse, XR, or immersive gaming technologies will be an added advantage.
