Role Overview:

We are looking for a Solution Architect Data & Analytics to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale analytics platforms on the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is balanced between delivery and pre-sales (50:50) and requires robust technical depth, architectural thinking, and people leadership skills.

The ideal candidate has been hands-on earlier in their career and now operates effectively at an architecture, client-facing, and team leadership level.

Roles & Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Delivery (50%)
Own end-to-end solution architecture for data and analytics programs.
Design architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, and dbt.
Define lakehouse and medallion architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
Establish data modeling strategies.
Review technical designs and ensure scalability, security, and cost optimization.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement (50%)
Lead solutioning for proposals and RFPs.
Conduct architecture workshops and whiteboarding sessions.
Support estimations and delivery approach definition.

Technical Leadership & People Management
Mentor and guide data engineers.
Participate in hiring and capability building.




Resolve escalations and provide architectural direction.

Governance, Security & Quality
Design governance-aligned architectures.
Implement security using Azure RBAC, Purview, Unity Catalog, and Fabric security.
Define data quality frameworks and MDM patterns.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in data & analytics engineering or architecture
Robust Azure Data Platform experience
Microsoft Fabric solution design
Databricks & Delta Lake
dbt working knowledge
SQL & Python
Client-facing experience

Industry Experience
Mandatory: Experience in either Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Finance

Soft Skills & Leadership
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Ability to explain complex architectures
People management and mentoring skills
