Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and caring Hostel Warden to manage the day-to-day operations of our hostel. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment while maintaining discipline and supporting the well-being of all residents.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily hostel operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with hostel rules and regulations.
Monitor resident attendance, room occupancy, and visitor records.
Ensure the safety, security, and welfare of all residents.
Handle resident concerns, complaints, and emergency situations promptly.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and security staff.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
Maintain hostel records, incident reports, and inventory.
Organize resident meetings and recreational activities when required.




Coordinate with management regarding hostel operations and improvements.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2–5 years of experience as a Hostel Warden, Residential Supervisor, or in hostel/property management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, record keeping).
Robust leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to stay on the hostel premises (if accommodation is provided).

Preferred Skills
Experience managing student or working qualified hostels.
Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
