Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, cloud platforms, performance tuning, and data integration. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and orchestration tools.
Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and database objects.
Implement Snowflake features such as:
Virtual Warehouses
Snowpipe
Streams & Tasks
Time Travel
Zero-Copy Cloning
Data Sharing
Materialized Views
Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and cost optimization.




Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Develop data ingestion frameworks from diverse source systems.
Implement data security, governance, and role-based access controls.
Collaborate with BI, Analytics, and Data Science teams to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.
Ensure adherence to data quality, compliance, and best practices.

Required Skills

Snowflake
Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Experience in Snowflake architecture and administration concepts.
Expertise in SnowSQL, Stored Procedures, UDFs, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe.
Experience in data migration from traditional databases to Snowflake.

SQL & Data Warehousing
Advanced SQL programming skills.
Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts.
Experience with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.
Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data marts.
