Job Title: Editor-ELT

Summary: This is a critical editorial position in the K12 content development space. The role of the editor will entail complete understanding of the pedagogical structure of a series; reviewing, editing, copyediting of content, drawing crucial documents like competition analysis and vertical-horizontal plan, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Major: To understand the pedagogical plan of a project
Major: To contribute towards documents like competition analysis and vertical-horizontal plan
Major: To review content received from the author and ensure that it is in keeping with the blueprint as well as curriculum guidelines
Major: To identify and commission authors and work closely with them to carry out the vision for a particular series of content, keeping the focus on the learner
Major: To follow the editorial processes, guidelines and standards
Major: To ensure compliance to local and global editorial standards and curriculum frameworks
Major: To manage tasks such as seeking copyright permissions, planning and commissioning illustrations, sourcing photographs

To manage deadlines and schedules without compromising on quality

Qualification
