Role Description The IT Specialist role at VedVastra is a full-time, in office position based in Thane. The IT Specialist will manage day-to-day IT operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems used across the retail environment. This role will monitor network performance, ensure secure connectivity between systems, and implement basic network security measures and backups.

The IT Specialist will diagnose and resolve technical issues for store and back-office teams, provide user support, and coordinate with external vendors when needed.



The role also includes documenting IT procedures, maintaining asset inventories, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications Candidates should possess robust Information Technology skills, including hardware and software setup, operating systems, and basic server or cloud tools.

Candidates should possess Network Administration and Network Security skills for managing local networks, Wi-Fi, routers, and secure data access.

Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills for supporting internal users, communicating clearly, and providing timely assistance.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.

Ability to work on-site in Thane, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and activities.

Experience in a retail or small business environment and familiarity with POS systems or inventory software will be an advantage.
