Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with robust hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining microservices-based applications, supporting production environments, and ensuring application reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Monitor Kafka and OCP processes and resolve production issues proactively.
Develop and support Kafka-based real-time data processing solutions.




Work with Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
Troubleshoot application issues using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana.
Support application performance tuning and debugging.
Work with Oracle Database or other relational databases.
Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Manage incidents, alerts, root cause analysis, and operational support activities.
Review and implement change requests and participate in CAB discussions.
Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for incident resolution and service improvements.
Lead BAU activities including Disaster Recovery (DR), Penetration Testing, and third-party change coordination.
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
Support production environments, including rotational support when required.

Positive to Have
Experience with public or private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCP)
Banking domain experience
Knowledge of Faster Payments, BACS, or Image Clearing System (ICS)
Experience in technical mentoring and team leadership
