General Summary:
In this position, the candidate will be working with cross-functional teams to supporting Linux based automotive platform in virtualized env, should have demonstrated ownership of Linux Vehicle platform enablement across customer programs.
Integration and maintenance (upgrade) of Linux kernel and kernel platform components.
Should have worked on diff Kernel build strategies (Yocto‑based and Bazel‑based flows), kernel configuration, and version alignment.
Should have solid understanding of Kernel bring‑up, boot validation, and early boot debugging in stand-alone and virtualized environments.
Should have positive Development experience of Device Drives or Services/Application in Linux platform , Kernel , features required for automotive virtualization use‑cases.
Ability to customize LV builds for headless version , Security related distros.
Should be able to collaborate with global platform, kernel, and virtualization teams to deliver secure releases.
Driving technical discussions, design reviews, and onboarding/ramp‑up activities for Kernel topics.
Operating systems concepts - scheduling, memory management and device drivers
Using debug tools like GDB ,JTAG debugger, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
3 years to 14 years' experience in Device Driver Development with Linux and with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc.
