Role & responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Oversee monthly payroll activities, including payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, and payroll sign-off.
Ensure compliance with all Indian statutory regulations, including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labor laws.
Review payroll calculations, Full & Final Settlements (FnF), reimbursements, leave encashments, and statutory deductions.
Build and maintain robust client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for payroll operations and escalations.
Lead payroll transition and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor service delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and quality metrics.
Lead, coach,
and develop payroll teams to drive performance and capability building.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations and issue resolution.
Drive continuous process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization of payroll processes.
Ensure timely statutory filings, audits, and compliance reporting.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience working with payroll outsourcing firms, shared services, or consulting organizations.
Exposure to handling payroll for multiple clients across various industries.
Experience in payroll transitions, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
