What you ll do
Support the Banquet Manager in delivering seamless meetings, conferences, weddings and social events.
Coordinate banquet operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional service and smooth event execution.
Ensure all function rooms are set up to specification and maintained to the highest presentation standards.
Lead and support the banquet team, creating a positive, guest-focused workplace.
Work closely with the Kitchen, Events and Stewarding teams to ensure flawless event delivery.
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve operational issues with confidence and professionalism.
Monitor departmental costs, equipment and supplies while maintaining operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
Support the training and development of team members, encouraging continuous improvement. Qualifications

Previous experience as a Banquet Executive, Banquet Supervisor or in a similar Food & Beverage operations role within a hotel.
Robust knowledge of banquet service standards, event operations and function room set-up.
