Job Summary We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Materials Science Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, testing, selecting, and developing materials suitable for our products and applications. The role involves evaluating material performance, conducting experiments, analyzing test results, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, durability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities Research and evaluate materials based on project requirements.

Conduct material testing, analysis, and validation.

Identify suitable materials considering strength, durability, weight, cost, and performance.

Develop and improve materials for recent and existing products.

Prepare test reports, technical documentation, and recommendations.

Work closely with the Design, R&D;, Manufacturing, and Quality teams during product development.

Investigate material failures and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers for material specifications, certifications, and technical support.





Stay updated with advancements in materials science, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant experience in materials research, testing, or product development (freshers with strong academic projects may also apply).

Required Skills Robust understanding of material properties, selection, and characterization.

Knowledge of metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, and advanced materials.

Familiarity with material testing techniques and laboratory equipment.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test data.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Valuable documentation and report-writing skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office;

experience with material analysis or simulation software is an added advantage.
