Role & responsibilities-
Teach undergraduate (BDS) and postgraduate (MDS) students through lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, and clinical postings.
Supervise and mentor students in academic, pre-clinical, and clinical activities.
Provide quality patient care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Conduct and participate in seminars, journal clubs, case presentations, and continuing academic activities.
Contribute to research, scientific publications, and academic development of the department.
Assist in departmental administration, maintenance of records, equipment, and inventory.
Participate in university examinations, internal assessments, and evaluation of students as per institutional and regulatory guidelines.
Support departmental activities during inspections, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
Perform academic, clinical, research,



and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Department and the institution.

Preferred candidate profile-
MDS in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution.
Must meet the eligibility criteria as per applicable regulatory norms for the position of Senior Lecturer/Reader.
Solid academic, clinical, and teaching skills.
Positive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Research publications and conference presentations will be an added advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary academic and clinical setting.
Candidates with prior teaching experience in a recognized dental college will be preferred.
