Key Responsibilities:
Operate conventional milling machines for machining metal components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
Set up workpieces, tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
Perform facing, slotting, drilling, keyway cutting, and other milling operations.
Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and keep the machine and work area clean.
Follow safety procedures and maintain production records.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of conventional milling machine operations.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
Understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
Valuable problem-solving and attention to detail.
Qualification & Experience:
ITI in Fitter, Machinist, Turner
Experience: 2–5 years as a Conventional Milling Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.
