Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Detailed engineering of Compressor packages and its auxiliaries in accordance with the international standards like API, ISO, ASME, etc.
Equipment sizing, selection, and detailed engineering of compressor support systems in accordance with the latest API Standards (main & auxiliary drivers, heat exchangers, seal gas heaters, lube oil pumps, instruments, gages, surge control valves and systems, etc.)
Preparation of technical documentation such as P&ID;, Datasheets, GA Drawings, other customer facing documents, etc.
Preparation of RFQ and evaluation of vendor offers for compressor package auxiliaries like lube oil systems, dry gas seal systems, pressure vessels, control valves, filters, etc.
Creation of part numbers in ERP system and generation of Bill of Materials.
Conduct design reviews, identify risks, and provide recommendations.
Conduct meetings with Customer and Suppliers as and when needed.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE




Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical rotating equipment engineering
Working knowledge of rotating equipment like compressors, pumps, turbines, etc. and auxiliary support systems like dry gas seal systems, lube oil systems, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves, filters, etc.
Robust knowledge and understanding of applicable industry standards (API-617, 692, 614, AGMA, NACE, etc.)
Familiarity with engineering documentation and design standards
Excellent team player.
Valuable verbal & written communication skills
