Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in product design, sheet metal engineering, and manufacturing processes while working on live projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Support the development of sheet metal components, enclosures, and mechanical assemblies.
Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and DXF files.
Work with the engineering team on product development and prototype validation.
Coordinate with production teams to understand manufacturing processes and design improvements.
Assist in implementing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
Participate in product testing, documentation, and design revisions.




Support engineering documentation and revision control.

Requirements

Required Skills:
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Eligibility:
Final-year students or recent graduates in B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical design concepts.
Knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a rapid-paced engineering setting.
